The Globe Restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia is in
the Biltmore District, also known as the Technology Square development in Midtown. Just because it's near the college doesn't mean it's not
great eating. It's a bistro with a modern atmosphere, sleek and modern
and spacious, yet it has a warm and relaxed feel. During the day the
restaurant has a cafe menu and in the evening it serves a full dinner menu
plus it has a full bar. The wine list has over 50 different kinds of
wine and half of them are under twenty five dollars. You can
also order the wines by the glass.

A lounge area is in the front of the Globe
Restaurant in Atlanta, and there is a small "library" area in the
back which can be rented out. The name "Globe" may come from
the Globe light fixtures.

The chef is Joshua Perkins, who used to work
at the Brasserie Le Coze at Lenox Square Mall in Buckhead, and he creates
grouper with tomatoes with cucumber, as well as heirloom tomatoe and chevre,
and veggie tupura frites. Other menu items include fresh fruit
smoothies and Spanish omelets, plus calimari, salads, roast chicken, and
duck breast with raviola and spinach. Some example prices (very
reasonable) are the herb roasted chicken at $14 and the seared diver
scallops at $19. The ingredients are always very fresh let the food's
quality stand out.
Open till 11 pm, or midnight on the weekends.
