 My favorite restaurants in Midtown Atlanta area are the Twist (hip), the Shout (sister restaurant, also very hip), the Globe (sleek bistro), and the Taurus (chophouse).  These restaurants are between downtown in the south (commercial and financial) and Buckland in the north (rich shopping, housing and nightlife).  Midtown is the arts and entertainment district.

Midtown is bordered by:

  • North side:  Northeast Expressway
  • South side:  North Avenue
  • West side:  Downtown Connector
  • East side:  Monroe Drive

Restaurants in Midtown Atlanta are often on the famous Peachtree street, which has 4-star hotels, high-rise condos, Victorian homes and skyscrapers with malls and corporate headquarters.  The main part of Midtown is Piedmont Park.
