The Shout Restaurant in Atlanta is the sister to
Twist, and it is
very hip, sleek, and sexy. The owner Tom Catheral also invented Prime,
Goldfish, and Noche. It's huge - almost 20,000 square feet with
seating for 600. They have a sushi lounge and many bars. Their
theme is "Food, Fun and Flirt". Located in Midtown in Colony
Square, the rooftop lounge is pretty amazing - reservations recommended. The upstairs section is
called "Shout Out" and has its own kitchen. There are
several full bars, which offer traditional cocktails plus their own
signature drinks. The booths are half-moon and very intimate.
With reservations ahead of time, you can rent a private cabana on the roof for several hundred dollars, and
Jermaine Dupri and Michael Vick go there a lot. Within walking
distance of Midtown
museums and theatres.
The Chef who designed the menu at the Shout Restaurant in Altanta is Ian Winslade, who used to work at Bluepointe. The food is from all over the world: Pizza from a wood burning oven, Moroccan spiced Cornish hen, Thai beef salad. Usually it winds up about $35 per person. Restaurant reservations Lunch and dinner are very popular, and restaurant reservations are highly recommended. |
