The Taurus Restaurant in Atlanta is a great
chophouse, with a gorgeous view of the skyscrapers. Located in the
Peachtree shopping plaza in Midtown, it has a sexy feel with a red interior. The
meat is roasted on the bone and their seafood is wood grilled. The upper
walls have beautiful windows and the room is banded in wood, with the
seating in chair in pods, plush booths, and on a patio. The restaurant
is quiet but not too quiet.
The sides for the meals at the Taurus Restaurant in Atlanta, such as the silky corn chowder and tangy Peekytoe crab fritters, are huge and could easily serve four people. They have a wine list, which isn't huge, but is very good. In addition to red meat, they have salads, soups and great appetizers. The best item on the menu is filet mignon, which is on a bed of cauliflowerwith hints of pepper and garlic. The motto of the Taurus Restaurant in Atlanta is "Great Food, No Bull!" The waiters and waitresses all have shirts with the icon of the bull. The chef is Gary Mennie and he get a full, bold flavor out of the food. He has a "roast of the day, Restaurant reservations Lunch and dinner are very popular, and restaurant reservations are highly recommended. |
